Fostering: The service provides the recruitment and selection of Foster parents in order to provide placements for children and young people who have been admitted to care. The Team provide ongoing support, supervision and training of carers to ensure they are providing a safe service to children and young people.
Adoption: The service completes assessments in respect of prospective adopters both stranger and step parent. When approved at panel the team are involved in the placement process and will also provide post adoption support if and when required.
