Main Services Provided

Community Family Support Programme offers young people and their families, comprehensive support and the confidence to tackle the challenges of daily life, by identifying solutions and working together to:

• Prevent young people aged 11 – 18 leaving education.
• Support 16 – 18 year olds return to education, training or find employment.
• Assist adults 19+ years to follow their personal career path, access training and develop the skills towards finding employment.

This is mainly done mainly through home visiting, it is free, confidential and addresses the needs of the family at a pace that is acceptable to them.
E.g. challenging behaviour, alcohol / drug misuse, financial difficulties, low confidence, health, housing worries, problems in accessing public or community services, concerns in school, college or help to source training and employment …

Families can join by contacting a programme provider directly.

Family Support Hubs, Health & Social Care Trusts or other family support agencies / organisations that are already working with families can also refer them to the programme.
