Prince’s Trust’s Fairbridge Programme, beginning on 3rd December

Starting with a five-day Access course, young people aged 16-24 get the chance to do outdoor adventurous activities, as well as take part in a residential trip.

Once the Access course is complete, they can choose from lots of different activities from sports to drama and photography to cooking. We’ll work with them to help them reach their goals. Fairbridge is completely free. We throw in lunch and drinks throughout the day, and also cover travel expenses.

We run a range of exciting and interesting activities to develop personal and key life skills including Level 1 essential skills, money management, healthy living and food hygiene. Free, fun and fully-equipped to help you to work towards your goals, with one-to-one support and group activities, our team members will help you to develop the skills you need to move forward.

What’s more, there’s no time limit. Fairbridge lasts as long as the young person needs it to. Once they’re ready, we’ll help them take the next step into work, education or training.

It’s their choice to stay on and we won’t make anyone do anything they don’t feel comfortable with.
