Support for people who self-harm is available through your GP. If you need medical attention go to a hospital Emergency Department or dial 999. If you are concerned about self-harm or suicidal thoughts speak to your GP about local services that can help. If you are in distress or despair, or know someone who is, call Lifeline on 0808 808 8000. If you, or someone you know is in immediate danger, dial 999.
